Exactly 2 weeks!

Well, it's been 2 weeks and I'm not sure why.. Maybe nothing to say, maybe just other stuff going on.. Well, I got 2 comments on the blackberry post.. and I'd like to say that the BB is not hard to work.. It's really like a tiny computer. If you can work a computer you can work a BB. And it isn't a phone that I would have bought for myself.. but it's a brand new phone and no sense in wasting it or just letting it sit around.. So I use about 1/10 of the functions it has, but I do like that I can take pictures with it and hook it up to my computer and then I have those pictures. I could probably print them and stuff.
And Kim, Owen is my little sweetheart.. They are gone on vacation and I feel so bored with out him and my sister was telling me that on Monday he was looking for me.. It made me miss him so much. He really is a sweet boy. He has this ability to make me laugh so hard I cry and the past few times he's gotten this look on his face, because he thinks I'm upset, and he'll put his hand on me like "are you OK" and then he realizes that I'm laughing and then he smiles and then I laugh harder.
I guess the only big news is that B/F's sister had her second baby last week.. I got to see him on Saturday and he was so sweet and quiet and just a little nugget. I was only a little scared of him :P
On the sports front my MN Twins have been pulling wins out of their batting helmets.. 2 extra inning wins in 2 nights. And I've been watching the Stanley Cup and I'm really rooting for the Red Wings, I've liked them for years and I like it when they play the Wild and I lie to watch them.
I guess I forgot that this past weekend was a long weekend.. Saturday I didn't do much and then on Sunday B/F went to Sound Set 08 and since it was put on in part by Rhymesayers (local record label that he is on the street team for) he went and ended up going VIP and he also worked in the merch booth. And during all that we had some terrible weather, storms, rain, hail, and tornadoes! And they were pretty close to where we live. But he was all safe downtown. Then on Sunday night (after he'd been there for 8 hours) we went to the after party at First Avenue. And we didn't get home until 2am. The after party was with DJ Z-Trip ( I like him)! Then on Monday it was like catch up day from the night before. But it was fun.
SO I guess that's all I have for now.

Bitchin' Friday

Well, I'm going to go against my policy of not using this blog as a "bitchin' post" but today I'm going to mainly because I have a few things to bitch about.
1. Why can't people use turn signals? Its it so hard to flip it on and flip it off? I mean its harder to make a call on a cell phone (which might be the reason for not using it in the first place) but really-
2. Stupid co-workers. This general category encompasses a number of common co- worker types. The "ass", this person is just an ass, not really mean, but just an ass. Like a 6th grader.. Most of these are specific to my own work place but could be stretched out to others as well.. The "little buddy" Gilligan, need I say more? Anyone else have one of these? "Turbo" a fat lesbo who does nothing but feels entitled to anything and everything.. The "little buddy" and the "turbo" get along pretty well but not with others.
OK, I think I'm done with that for now.. I guess I don't really have anything else.. Mainly because there is nothing going on. B/F and I are going promoting this weekend..I can't remember if I brought that up before but he is on a street team for a local record label and they have a new release coming out so we are going to go out and put up posters and flyers and take pictures and stuff, he's on the team and I'm not but I feel like I am, but it is kind of fun.. I always feel like...

Somebody's watching me... Its tree man! I just thought it was funny, the line and the pic and all..

Well, ya'll have to turn your head to the left, because my pic isn't situated right. This is my sign, and its only a stop sign but notice that it isn't on a pole, out side, which is the natural environment of a stop sign. Its in my basement. But I didn't put it there, its been there for a long time.

This is the soon to be garden, now its just a box filled with dirt, soon to be amended with compost (whoo hoo) then I can plant , provided I can find replacement seeds for my target seeds. Tree man will be watching over it, making sure that it grows like crazy. I'd like to have enough so that I can sell some stuff (veggies) out on the street, make a little yarn money. He's on the tree in the back ground. So what else.. well, Kevyn Burger will be having surgery tomorrow (send her good energy) and I just found out something so cool. I sent off an e-mail to the lovely people at Fifth Element, a local record shop operated by a local record label, Kevyn loves Atmosphere, he's a local hip-hop artist (NOT a rapper, there IS a difference) and all I was asking of the was to post some comments on her blog to send her some happiness, just something fun. But the response that I got was SO cool. They wanted her address so they could send her out a care package. I just thought that it was so cool way more than I was asking them to do. But ever since the b/f got me into the label and the artists I've liked them and I like to support the local stuff and I think its cool when they support people who support them. That's kinda wordy but I'm sure you all understand what I'm saying. There is one guy who I think works all day everyday because when ever we go there he is working, but he gives B/F a discount, how cool is that.. And its not like we/ he go (es) there all the time or anything. But anyways, I'm going to eat lunch and check out the paper. SO that's all for me, unless I think of something that can't wait.
